Trivia

As a kid I was always a fan of Jeopardy, and we watched it religiously as a family during dinner. In middle school I was on the "It's Academic" team. In college I did trivia at Klondike Kate's on Mondays and UD Quizzo on Tuesdays (I still have my Quizzo Champions mug). And now as an adult I play online trivia on LearnedLeague.

I've always had a knack for remembering random stuff and trivia nights satisfy the puzzle person inside me. My friend Ben Gillingham had hosted a few trivia nights on Zoom during the pandemic and since he never got to play I figured I'd write some questions and host my own.

It's nothing special, but I was really fond of the questions I wrote and the format I settled on for awarding points. Below is the Google Doc with the questions and answers and the Google Slides presentation I screenshared during the actual Zoom call. Feel free to completely steal it for your own trivia night.

UPDATE: I made another one! This time I hosted trivia in person, in my house. I changed up the format to have more fun themes, and also made the questions a little easier. Questions and answers, as well as the powerpoint, are linked below.
